Is Liquid Leather (Gliptone) Conditioner and Cleaner any good for black dakota leather?

The passenger side is starting to look a bit shiny from dirt

If that product is a no go then any other recommendations?

My leather is quite new. The car is 1.5 years old.

I ordered the LTT kit. It comes highly recommended on Detailing World for Dakota Leather.

I'd personally recommend Leatherique's products. I've just done my whole interior (I have Black Dakota Leather) and it has made a great difference in softness & appearance. Don't forget to do the steering wheel, mine looks brand new again now!

Leatherique use no harmful ingredients and are highly regarded as one of the best in the business, they are partners with Roll's Royce.#

You'll need:
1 Litre of Rejuvanator Oil
1 Litre of Prestine Clean

I'm usually a skeptic on many overly glowing product reviews, but Leatherique is one exception to my usual rule.

This product is by far the best I've used on leather; it cleans and moisturizers the leather in my 11 year old car so well you would swear it's well less than half its age.

Regardless of those who say it has little to no effect on Dakota leather due to the process in which it's made, I can say first hand Leatherique does work well on Dakota leather.

I've had great success with Leather Masters. Designed to be used with the coated leathers, what Dakota leather is. Most cleaners don't penetrate the protective coating.

After reading multiple reviews and forums, seems that Leatherique products are the best, no doubt. However, if your leather is not really dirty then Leatherique will be too much I guess.

I was in the same situation for couple of days and ended up buying Wolfgang's cleaner and conditioner (autogeek) last night. I never used this product so it's not a recommendation until I test it out

Will post feedback.

Same products will do. Gliptone is too strong and will strip the dye if left to dwell too long so avoid that.

here's what i think; if the car seat is not super dirty then this product will work. I had hard time getting rid of some shiny spots using the method recommended on the cleaner product. So instead of following the instructions I used soft brush and spray this product directly and started cleaning. It didn't remove all (may be i didn't try hard enough). But good thing is that it didn't spoil the leather.

then I realized that if i had to use brush or something similar then i believe any product will work as far as it's made to clean leather seats, you don't need to spend $$$ to find a very specific brand.

May be you might want to get a good conditioner once cleaning is done. With Wolfgang's i didn't observe any smell so it works for me.

Dakota leather is coated, just clean it and use 303 aerospace. The conditioner will just sit on the surface.
