buy the OEM module on ebay that fits your year model and thats it. the model costs me $95 and sirius for a year for $95. Can't beat that. no programming needed if you buy a used one that came off a car.

I use a Sirius Starbase system (http://www.crutchfield.com/S-4OY1xt6...-Starbase.html) (http://www.sirius.com/servlet/Conten...=1107202268644)

I have made the modification from the ashtray to the sunglasses holder and I have my controller in there , the main unit connects to the aux input

works great

My advise go with the dealer no one else, the dealer has the proper kit and the intrigal parts to make your sirius experience the best, I just had it installed at my dealer on my new 07 3281 I have the Hi Fi radio,it just sounds perfect almost as good as my 750I with the pro logic system, the dealer will be expensive tho I paid $976.00 but it was worth every penny I have 2 lifetime memberships to Sirius and I have not listened toany thing else since 04 Go for the dealer install, it is clean and very good!!!! You will not be dissapointed

yes. I bought one used on ebay and integrated it into the MOST network and it worked fine...I had to call Sirius to turn it on, but that was it. No programming is needed if you get one used that has already been coded...or at least thats true for my car. This module came off an 08 7 series I believe and I own a 3 series

If your car is pre-wired for Sirius it is probably the easiest solution,

My car is an 06 and was not pre-wired so I had to improvise

Also, I tried to buy the module from Tischer and they said it was on back order...I asked them how long this has been on backorder and they said A LONG TIME. Id ebay it, or get an aftermarket. If you get a module on ebay, the worst case would be taking it to the dealer for a program. So figure 200 for the module and 1-2 hundred to program it at max. beats having the dealer doing everything. integrating the sirius into the MOST network is fairly easy as well. About a 1 job for someone with no experience with the install.

If you have the AUX connector and an iphone, just subscribe through your iphone and plays great. Thats what I had to do in my E92, Since I didnt order it.
