You're missing LPFP and AFR2 in the parameters, but i'm sure they are fine. And man those RB's hold boost up top, much much want! You're gonna love Ken's E60 flash. With those RB's it'll rip your face off |

Nooooooob!!!
Hey all,
I just got a 2009 335 msport and I'm stoked with the car. It's an awesome ride and I love it but I feel like its not even trying . I lurked here for a while and decided to bite the bullet. I bought an acer tablet, a cable and the MHD app. Problem is the cable that I bought doesn't work with Android I bought this one. http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/INPA-Edia...-/221418264572 Anyone know where I can get one that's known to work with Android ? The car is stock and I'm looking for a cooler but don't want to pay 1200 bucks when I know that a decent one costs 450 in the states... Any advice? Or am I being too much of a tight arse? The VRSF ones look good for the money Last edited by Aus335iguy; 07-06-2015 at 05:27 AM.. |

Just had VRSF catless downpipes and DCIs fitted to my car 2 days ago and today I flashed the car with the stage 2 maps from MHD flasher.
The tune seems to be running great for me, big power gains and very responsive. Running it on the dyno tomorrow morning. Having another issue with the car however, ever since installing the downpipes I've been getting a lot of oil smoke from the exhaust when coming to a stop at the lights. I've made a separate detailed thread for this here: http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1156020 Would be great if anyone can shed some light on the issue and I'll post dyno results tomorrow. |

Got another cable and it's working. Getting a charger and I'll be flashing on the weekend.
Anything else I should consider ?

Extra soot from tail pipes after DPs is normal The cats use to "filter" it out and so was not as obvious No idea why you might be getting lots of oil smoke |

VRSF 7 inch intercooler soaks up a fair bit of heat. I have looked at numerous vrsf 7 inch logs and it works well. It is cheap and good I wouldn't hesitate in buying it over $1000+ intercooler. Last edited by Brule; 07-31-2015 at 03:43 AM.. |

Pull it out when you flash, it takes about 40 minutes depending on type of car ecu. Keep a charger on it too. |

Thanks guys I've got a 3A charger will that be ok if I pull the lpfp fuse ?
I might keep the thing on float charge overnight as well. I've read that sometimes the plugs need changing after a flash?

The plugs might need changing, not because of the flash, but simply because they need to be in tip top condition when the boost+fueling is more aggressive you need a good strong reliable spark.
Also, don't flash at 7.00am in the morning before you're about to go to work. Only Socket does that. |

Hey guys. Probably a silly question, but when it comes to buying a cheap tablet that supports OTG for loading the MHD flash, are there any memory requirements as the tablet is storing your car's stock ECU settings? Or am I way off here?

I'm more thinking about the file size of the factory ECU map and whether the tablet/phone or whatever is used to flash the ECU has enough memory to store it. I have practically zero technology experience so that whole sentence may make no sense at all.

Scotty and I brought $75 Anroid tablets. They are super crap but have enough memory to store the ECU backup. If these have enough memory anything will
