What in the pictures makes you think that area has damage? Is it the writing on the wings?

The previous owner had KW comfort street suspension fitted and in my opinion it is too low, rear arches had been rolled.
Front passenger wheel looks pretty mangled...

My fault that is...it has chrome alloy rim protectors. About a week after I got it I caught the curbs whilst parking at home.
So it does look like the alloy is mangled but it is just the alloy protector.

Good spot!

It sold and must have met the reserve. I forgot to look yesterday to see how much it went for.
If it was anyone on here get in touch as I have wads of the history for it.

The car is with copart salvage currently with a bid of £2,150, very odd as I told them once they agree the payout I'd like to discuss options to buy back. Be interested to see what it sells for and if the new buyer gets intouch as I have stacks of history for it.
I put my claim in for flood damage over the weekend as its hydro-locked - if you have any advice I'd appreciate it

I paid just under £5k 12 months ago for my 2005 E91 330D M-Sport with panoramic roof, logic 7 and plenty else. Has done just of 2000 miles since I bought it. Its modified which were declared on the policy but can imagine it will mean nothing come valuation time. Gutted as is my first ever insurance claim.

My advice would be to get a specialist BMW valuer to give you a written valuation.
I can recommend John - https://bmwvaluations.com.
He valued mine, he writes for BMW Performance, has a long history in the trade and was and editor at glasses guide.
Then I would get on the Financial Ombudsmen website and do some research. Plenty of advice which you can then use in your e-mail exchanges with the insurance company. You also need proof of what you paid, made easier if you bought from a garage, and provide current adverts of similar cars available today. It took me several weeks of back and fourth with my insurance company but eventually they paid out. Good luck, hang in there and keep fighting.
