The "chirp" after each change comes from the tyres which have so much torque through them, they are trying to spin.

The 'chirp' is the dump valve releasing excess pressure from the turbo during a gear change. Pressure is built up again after gear change with increased rpm. Hence the turbo lag until pressure is built up. Then its Whoooaaaa wtf !!!!!!!!!!

We dont have our vacuum on anything but full power all of the time - may notch it down when the warranty runs out.

All the guesses on the noise are wrong.

its ''compressor stall'', often confused with ''wastegate chatter''

People call if wastegate chatter but it aint. Its compressor stall.

My fiesta turbo did it. Sounded the bollox.

Have to disagree, it has all the trademark sounds of the Telios TP6206, its the newer twin turbo model.

I'm not sure you are entirely right Will. The TP6206 has never done the whole house in less than 13.9 secs. My remapped T5805 has done it in 13.7 secs.

I believe the V8 TC3202 below holds the all time record of 13.203 secs

Are they able to remap the TC3202 yet? I reckon it will be sub 13 secs before long. I quite fancy the TFB2010, 2000W and suction power of 350AW. I see times coming close to 12.50 secs in the very near future with a peformance dust filter.
