Mod 44: monoballs installed
Arrived at Vince's new place. Beautiful house btw. Nice long driveway
Got brand new m3 arms that has been dying to get installed. We only got through the fronts with these monoballs. Would head back again to get my rears done and completed hopefully soon.

Feels much more tighter. I would say you feel everything now. But that's me coming off oem arms. Plus it was difficult putting the monoballs in as mine were brand new. (12 tonnes of pressure and it won't go any further) Hopefully with yours it'll be much easier to press them in.

Reapply again with slimmer 3m tape and also at the right spots now. After 3 hours it's now flushed and looks the way it was designed to look

Did you need to replace the control arms to use the monoballs or could they be installed in existing control arms?

Looks great, Btw!

G'day guys,

Recently purchased a 2013 E92 320d. Super exciting.

Was wondering if there is anything that can be done to make the exhaust sound better?

Don't want it to be loud for no reason, but with a nicer tone. Any sort of deletes etc. Not super experienced so would appreciate any advice at all.

Also happy to hear any other worthwhile mods.

Cheers.

Custom exhaust will get you the note cheap. But if you want to go aftermarket it can be pretty expensive. E.g. custom mid pipes and exhaust ($1100) vs aftermarket eisenmann muffler alone ($2500)

Right right. In Melbourne too, do you have any specific recommendations?

Had my roof wrapped in gloss black today at Most Wanted Garage in Dandenong, happy with how it came out.

Did my initial setup at dandy exhaust. They were terrible. Exhaust world in the north side is actually pretty good. For custom setups. If you want aftermarket I suggest listening to sound clips so that you know which is the note you were looking for.

If you want to make it throaty get a DPF Delete, really wakes the car up. But it requires tuning to remove the error I think. Can be pricey.
