[E91Dan]

Hey everybody.

New to the forum, I'm Dan

I've not long had a 2007 E91 320d SE Tourer, previously had a few e46's but I wanted a bit of economy and this wagon came up at a steal, 150,000 miles but FSH and very tidy for just £1500! I couldn't refuse..

Progress is very slow due to post Christmas budgets and also the winter putting me off doing too many things due to the cold and the amount of cr*p on the roads at the mo. This may be a bit of a slow one but I have big plans so I thought I'd start a build thread and update as I go along!

Anyone's comments or constructive criticism are more than welcome! I'll bring everybody up to speed on where I'm at so far, and what I have planned.. hopefully it'll be a good'un!!


My first priority is to make sure the car is in full working order, change out any worn parts and remain on top of servicing etc. Thus far I've completed a few small modifications to make her mine (I still need a name if anyone has any suggestions?!), those mods are:

LED Low/Hi beam (£60 for both sets)
LED sidelights (£10)
LED number plate bulbs (£10)
Wind deflectors (£30)
Red Start/Stop button (£5)
Aux In to standard stereo (for now) (£10)
Coding - Euro side markers, one touch windows.. the usual stuff! That's about as far as I've got so far.. as I say, with it being so cold and dirty outside I am reluctant to push too hard until the milder weather arrives (snow is due in two days) (£10)


Total expenditure to date: £135

Msport steering wheel
Black kidney grille
Pressed plates
Storm motorwerks gearknob
Updated speakers/underfloor sub?

18 or 19" wheels
Front splitter.. possibly bumper upgrade?
Eonon head unit
Suede gear knob surround
Carbon fibre interior trim
LED interior bulbs
Paintwork correction and polish
Dent removal
+ anything else I may have forgotten!


The list isn't too small.. but that's why this is going to be a build thread.. to complete over time and hopefully make some friends whist gaining advice and experience along the way!

I'll pop a post up below of my car (the standard one) vs a modified one I quite liked the look of as a sort of target for myself!

No problems mate! I'll update the original post with prices so far and update as I go along! Want to do this properly, but without breaking the bank😬
