Just bought a RoadHawk HD for general usage and recording road trip footage.

Only given it a short test run ao far, so can't comment on all the features.

I've had dash cams for ages and I've seen so many driving incidents that I feel vulnerable driving without one now.

If there's no witnesses it can be your word against theirs.

For example:

Not sure if it's already been mentioned but BMW have released a dash cam called the BMW Advanced Car Eye:

I don't mind people using them to pretect themselves from "crash for cash" incidents but for grassing people up for going quickly is a bit underhand. Police shouldn't be allowed to use them.

Fair enough if someone does something very very dangerous but seeing people just overtaking and these do-gooder dash cam idiots moaning in their vids.

Also seen footage of the dash cam owner deliberately goading other cars just because they have a camera as a witness. This is a little out of order also. Dash cam man deprive retort provoking to get a reaction 😡

I did a mission last night from London to Bath... & back again (M4)

On the way back, the clear motorway suddenly drops to 40mph, I had lorries flashing & overtaking me while i stuck to the limit + 10%, Why? Unfamiliar motorway not sure if there was a speed trap. I literally want to sue the government for attempted murder, it was that dangerous!

P.s There were no obstructions/broken down cars/road works.

...the point im trying to make is, i want video proof when these 'managed' motorways inevitably get it wrong like last night & cause a massive pile up.

I showed the video of the guy in London keying the Aston. That buggy he is pushing is a designer brand with a £1,000 plus price tag.(she did not notice the Aston lol) He obviously likes nice things, but only if he can afford them.

With all the stealth cameras around now I have started to drive to the temp speed limits and as you say invariably there is no need and you become the hazard.

Yeah the only thing that really annoys me is people who jump red lights. They can kill others so I'm all for them getting reported by whoever.

Still some people can't help becoming dash cam stars.

Not to say I agree with bikes crossing the stop line and cutting between cars.

For those that have dash cams installed with DAB radio, have you experienced any issues with the cameras causing interference with the DAB reception? I was considering a Blackview but have been told they can cause issues so would be good to know if this is the case.
