Over the last 2 years Mid-Atlantic community has grown in its size, participation and popularity. With any growth comes its share of issues in terms of managing a community, and we are no different. Having been a long poster in e90post community, Im very fortunate to know the different personlities, see the trends and it continuing needs. At this juncture, Ive been surprisingly asked by the administrator to provide 2 names to help moderate the Mid-Atlantic Online Regional Community. Having said that, 2 names will be selected from our citizen group. So, here it goes:

(1 ea) Sr Executive Moderator GS-15 (sorry thats already filled by me observing, correcting, coaching, guiding on/behind the scene- closed)
(2 ea) Mid-Mgmt Moderator GS 13/14 (open)

GRADE: The mid-level Grades GS-13/14 is a quasy full time position with sick leave, and 30 days annual vacation

DUTY LOCATIONS: Mid-Atlantic Region here online
PHYSICAL LOCATION - Washington DC Metropolitan Area

SUMMARY:

Mid-Atlantic Group was founded Spring of 2006, after the administrator sense a need to created it like other online forums and the occasional request of putting DC Metro successful events and photo thread in one separate and not so often visited section (the Photo section then). And after the first two meets, DC Metro mbrs were wondering around other more dynamic regions looking for acceptance and belonging. Thks to the e90post Admins these DC Metro Mid-Atlantic group have now a place called home.

Like any other home, we need house keeping and thereby this job announcement is posted for awareness. Mid-Atlantic (DC Metro) is dynamic section inviting people even from other regions and countries. It has a diverse
backgrounds so its a delicate act of balancing its thread and postings are to not offend anyone and at the same time be spontaneous, fun and informative.

This post is seeking to recruit men or women who can, like and be good moderators for Mid-Atlantic. Moderators are to use new creative ways that invited participation, provide useful information and help find answers for our general public unanswered posting. Report incidents that are harmful to members online welfare to Admins and co-moderators.

If you like cars, DIYs, getting people actively involve with on and offline activities using on online information systems as a medium for communication, this could be the position for you.

A one-year probationary/supervisory probationary period may be required.

dual citizenship is accepted... but must pass a very rigorous top-secret background clearance process and a Poly-Life vstyle lie detector test

Well my dog died years ago... but it was natural causes.

A one-year probationary/supervisory probationary period may be required.
