Turbosmart, COBB and Injen fitment issue

After some fitment issues with a cheap Chinese cp, I just finally got a chance to install a COBB cp and Turbosmart Kompact Plumb Back Diverter valves... the install went amazingly, the COBB Charge pipe is beautiful and I'm upset I didnt go with it to begin with... well now there's a fitment issue with my Injen Dual Air Intake... the issue comes with the 2nd dv (closest to the front bumper) it sit higher and pushed one of the air intake tubes upwards. I was able to make it kinda work by extending the DV between the intakes, however there are a few places where there is metal to metal contact.

I just wanted to know if anyone has figured out this fitment issue?

I love my Injen intake, it looks and sounds great and its CARB legal here in Cali so I don't want to go just straight filter.

thanks!

Here are a few pictures of what I'm talking about... the zip ties are just to avoid the metal to metal contact until I find a better solution...

I have the same DV and the same chargepipe though I have BMS dual cones all fits nice . If your wanting to keep your injen then I'd suggest you cut off that centre bracket if it's in the way does it actually serve any purpose. My dual cones just float there attached to the inlet piping cant see why it will not apply to your set up.

Maybe sell your injens and get an AFE dual cone set up that sits where the oem air box used to sit.

thats one of the air filter options I originally wanted but it's not carb legal

"This product is not CARB exempt at this time and is not legal for sale in California"

I'd get rid of the bracket. Use metal, SS zip ties if you need support.

Most injen intakes are a tight fit that will require slight modifications to satisfy. Cut the bracket and use the ties, it should be fine. no worries
