Wing Mirror Not Dipping (in reverse)

The passenger wing mirror on my 320d E91 (touring) doesn't dip when in reverse (I have tried with the mirror setting switch in both passenger and driver position).
From reading around it seems it should.

How do I get it to dip and how do I set the dip position?

Thank you very much, it seems I don't have these options. Is there any way to code it in later? Or would that be £100 at the stealers type of job.

if you will have appropriate hardware and wiring, yes, you'll need to code it

You can code this feature with Carley for BMW. If you have the appropriate hardware etc fitted to the car of course.

I thought this option was only available if you have electric folding mirrors, there there would need to be an extra button next to the slider switch, as in this pic.

I know Im across the water but... my 09 335i and 07 335i both have this feature.

07 Has premium package and the 09 doesn't. Both don't have folding mirrors (or that extra button).

That being said for me it'll only work in the drivers side position.

Yes the drivers seat has memory.

And also yes in the left position it works but right it does not(opposite of what you'd think as that mirror is on the opposite side). Switched it once and thought It broke.

I actually like the feature but I like the fact that you can turn it off even more.
