Will this effect the color of the lights? Like if you paint the cut off shield red, will it turn the low and high beams red too?

For my LCI with V4. I painted just the cutoff shield only. For my 4th set, I'm going to add a red LED and paint the cutoff shield. Nope. Did them all myself. Did 3 sets for my car. A set of pre-LCI with V2. Then LCI with V2 and current one is LCI with V4. Did total about 10 E60 headlights and 1 E90.

No, the shield is red on the front, the light is coming from behind it. Some people also put a colored LED in there to enhance the effect.

I've done RGB ones before it was also under 200 but was a major PITA coundn't do a DIY..
