It will require modifications to fit the Xi.

If you're worried about the exact map required for flash tuning, a piggyback like the JB4 is a good alternative.
How about the catted N55 DP? How much of a hp/trq gain with that one in comparison to catless (not sure if the 25-30hp claimed on your site are catless or catted, and what tune)? And would that one fit without problems on an xi? Also, not quite sure but this is just the pre-cat in the DP and there's a secondary one further downstream, or not? No CEL (fix needed) with catted DP I guess?
Thx

I have the VRSF catless DP and V2 exhaust setup on my N55 and I can confirm there is next to no drone. There isn't a better exhaust setup for N55 that I've heard. My cold starts are louder than an e92 M3 with an Akropovic and Dinan setup lol. Definitely not a drone to the point where it would cause a headache, which I have heard in other setups. The sound my car makes under WOT isn't something you'd expect from an I6. It is intoxicating.

Hello, I wanted to buy the street exhaust for my n54 but wanted to keep my stock down pipes. Is that fine or do I need downpipes for the exhaust?

Looks like a great exhaust but as it looks, I don’t think it will clear my swing trailer hitch.

Our catback mated with the downpipes is both drone and rasp free with a deeper exhaust note at cruise and wide open throttle.
But what are the performance/HP gains? I've been trying to get an answer from your company for a week now.

There's no good answer to this. It entirely depends on how much your tuner can extract from it. Up to 20-25HP/TQ sounds like a reasonable number to expect from an exhaust? But this is not to say you can slap the exhaust on and expect these gains instantly.

You easily can say that. Ill spare you the unlimited examples. (and yes, that number is reasonable)

None the less, the order for this exhaust was cancelled today. VRSF has the WORST customer service I have ever seen in my life. ZERO responses to my inquiry's on their site, I keep getting the standard "We will be in touch soon" (emails). To bad, looks like they may have decent parts.

Thanks for the response.

Needed to know about the HP gains: No response.
Will it still fit when I upgrade my rear end to a limited Slip axel: No response

There isn't a note worthy HP increase and fitting an LSD doesn't change anything outside of your diff housing.

And I agree, their customer service is shit.

Easily say what? Manufacturers claim all sorts of things, and maybe they did get XX gains dyno-verified in one specific situation with a tune that you know nothing about in terms of reliability or longevity...doesn't mean that's what you'll see on your setup.

Fully agreed VRSF has the worst customer service and I avoid their parts for that reason alone. Products themselves seem decent. Like someone else said, LSD will have no impact on exhaust fitment.

HP gain will vary heavily depending on your current HP level. If you’re on stock turbos, it’s not uncommon to see gains ranging from 10-15 whp whereas we’ve seen gains of over 80 whp on cars pushing over 800whp. The replacement of your differential will not affect fitment.

In regards to the delayed response, I apologize for the inconvenience. We’re still in the process of training our new support staff and we’re experiencing higher than average support requests. Average response times range from 24-72 hours at the moment.
