Bummer. I actually enjoy all the light it lets in. That being said I'm it adds 75lbs+ to the car and is, of course, a possible failure point.

Not only that but the thing is a huge source of potential rattles. I cured one with a kludge -- there is a metal flap that rattles around in the front portion of the sunroof mechanism, so I wedged some paper in there. The overall glass seems to rattle at times over bumps too. We never use sunroofs anyway. Sure wish we could have bought an E91 slicktop here in the US; similarly wish BMWNA would have allowed the 335i E91 to be sold here too as we would have ordered one for my wife: E91 335i, Crimson Red/Terra, 6MT, M-sport package, slicktop, comfort access, cold weather package, Logic7, Xenons, all premium pkg junk except of course the sunroof!

Here is an update for you guys. As I mentioned just a few days ago, I love looking for stuff on CL. Likely, you all do the same. This set of 135Ms just had to be mine.

These are the E60 version from a 2010 535i M Sport. Specs are 18x8 ET20 with 245/40/18 Potenzas

The concave is perfect and I love these cars with 18s. I'll grab some more pics as soon as I get them installed!

Great job on that engine bay! Sick ride all around bro, enjoy!

Gonna have such an aggressive vibe when you throw those 135s on there. Awesome

Got them aired up and mounted. Super happy with the results so far! Huge improvement over the stock wheels, which I still like a lot. My wife and I agree that the car seems to look newer with these wheels. Success.

I haven't had a set of concave wheels for many years!

Even though they are a square set up I think that a set of 225/40s for the front would be ideal. They have a very slight rub when hitting the speed bumps in my neighborhood. A slightly smaller tire would probably do the trick. No issue staggering tires on square wheels right?

They look great. The rub is coming from the diameter being too large most likely. A 225/40-18 or 255/35-18 would be a typical E9x non-M fitment. The 255/35 would be too wide for an 8" wheel however. If you just change out the fronts, you'll end up with diameter stagger also. 225/40s all around should fit fine with no issues.

You could probably add something like the dinan camber plates to get rid of the rub, too. Only another .7 degree camber so wouldn’t worry too much about tramlining.

Thanks. Seems like that would probably let me run a 10mm rear spacer to help even them out. The fronts sit with more poke than the rears.

Got a new set of tires!

Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3 Plus in 235/40/18

So far so good, though I haven't ever been disappointed with a Michelin tire! These are a great upgrade over the worn out run flats they replaced. Not much comparison, much much quieter, really responsive and they make the car feel planted. Run flats ride so rough, these are way better.

Was planning on ordering 225/40s but last minute changed my mind and I'm glad I did. Turns out that 225s don't have the correct load requirement for the rear E90/E91 fitment. I was concerned about rubbing in the front but I haven't noticed any rubbing at all so far.

The stance and shape of those wheels remind me of the E46 ZHP 18s.

They are practically identical actually. The offset and concave face are the only differences. They are both called style 135s.

So clean. Love this car. Should go for a black front grille to match the window trim.

Wagon M Sport action has never looked so good. Am I right?!

Not sure how this car has gotten so much attention recently but damn I'm happy with it.

Just did the rear for now but the front shouldn't be far out considering how good this looks. The front has rock chips and really justifies a replacement. I regret not just sacking up and doing both at the same time especially since body shops always take so long.

You guys like?

Thanks. Ended up buying from the dealer directly. It seemed hard to find the bumper without PDC online and there aren't any replica pieces. Total was around $800 for bumper, insert and installation kit. FYI, anyone looking to do this know that the M sport rear bumper connects to the stock bumper brackets.

New windshield molding!

As you can see the original piece was beyond dead. Super nasty. The job wasn't really hard but it took a long time to fan-dangle the old piece out and then clean all the adhesive. I used a heat gun, goof off, floss, a razor blade and a screw driver.

Before

During

After

Even my wife noticed the difference. That means it was a job well done!
