Those are the Type 199-19" wheels..The rears are offset (19J) like the old 168's for the E46...I saw them in person a couple weeks ago..they are menacing..they are also 4 grand set over here...Still dont think anyone can come close to the 162's though...

That looks about right for what an 18" wheel may look like on an e90. Remember the 330xi has a slightly higher ride height than a regular non-AWD, so maybe picture that silver e90 just a tad higher.

Sweet wheels, but $4000 (pounds) if you opt for that over the stock wheels!? Are the US dealers also charging an arm and a leg for these wheels?

I hope not..even for the 162's they want 1580 pounds..(just over 3 grand)...Its crazy...Which is why I am looking for some alternatives, i.e., the Type 44's...thanks again for the p'shopped photo!

Is it just me or does the carbon front effects make this silver front end look awesome?

Those are optional wheels...320i and 320d have steel wheels with wheel covers as standard (thats what I read in the catalogue)

I think they are naff looking ptional wheels. I wouldn't pay any extra for these. The least i weould have thought is that these are standard. But yes you are right standard trim 320i and 320d come with hub caps...nice. NOT

I am not buying this car so that it can sit my garage while I make payments on it. I want to drive it!!!! I previously owned a 2002 Jeep Wrangler and put 25,000 miles on it in the first year of ownership.

The E90 looks so much better without the nasty number plates.

Cool Pictures..That's what you want to see at Brands Hatch.....

Seriously this car is just gorgeous. As my eyes get used to the new lines, it looks better and better to me. Oh, and E90's should be exempt from NJ front license plate laws... look how those ugly yellow tags ruin the front.

My God J,

Where do you get them from? No, don't tell us. Just keep 'em coming. They keep getting better and better.

The best ones I've seen so far, in particular the second one parked on the roadside.

Autobahn, thanks for posting these pictures. I was desperate to find good pictures of the 325i with ZSP.

Do you have any more pics of that particular vehicle, or perhaps some other 325i models with the sport package?

Much appreciated!

Those 18" Ellipsoid 162 Alloys are by far and away the best wheels imo and are going to look outstanding on a coupe... Whats everyone else think???

Totally agree with you. They are the 'must have' wheels for the E90, bit like the Rs4 wheels are the 'must have' for Audi

Honestly, I prefer the 161's to the 162's. I'm only talking about the shape and design of the rims, not factoring in their inherent difference in size or the size of the tires that go with them.

However, the best OEM rims for the e90 have got to be the 195's. Someone please tell me how I can get them in the US and how much would it cost.
