It's been over a year ...

... since I owned a Porsche but I knew I'd picked this username for a reason ...

I'M BACK IN THE FOLD!

Pick up my beautiful 1986 Porsche 944 tomorrow evening.

Heres a quick pic from the ad -

Went to have a look at it on Saturday and it's in the most beautiful condition.

80's car, 80's colour, forget fire up the quattro, FIRE UP THE '44

Ermmmm just trying to show people the error of their over assisted, modern and diesel ways ... into something more 80's than a whole episode of Ashes to Ashes, with lots of character and it also helps to keep the UK economy running well

Not another car, Nicola! What's the reason for ditching the, uh, I've lost track, er, hmm, black Miata? Was the Z3 only a loaner?

Looks OK Nic, but why does a student need a BMW Z3 and a Porsche!

More importantly, how does a student afford to tax, insure and run a BMW Z3 and a Porsche!

I am thinking of jackin' work and becoming a student!

Z3 should continue to be daily runner though the '44 will get it's fair share too

Actually bought another MX5 today too, to sell on was a bargain price and I can make some money on it, so why not?? Won't really be driving it at all though.

You are most welcome to try and push it round the car park but a '44 is quite heavy, infact thats two out of three E90Post meets my cars have been pushed around lol, though only one due to breakdown

M3 - tax, insurance and maintenance adds up to only like £2000 p/a Z3 isn't to bad on petrol, '44 will be about same and I'll more than likely be working full time come September in Music instead of starting the first year of proper degree (this year was foundation year). Have worked all this year too doing this and that so not like I've not done anything apart from getting uni assignments in
