Sport springs just for the front?

The ride height of my 335i is fine in the rear, perfect small gap between the tire and fender (i dont like the tire running inside the fender for that race or "slammed" look) but the front is way too high. So i was thinking about just getting a set of H&R sport or race springs just for the front? Is that an ok thing to do or is gonna kinda throw the car off a bit?

you, might get the raked look, front way lower than the back....

on ur sport pack, u might as well put front and rear H&R springs on, the back wont be dropped that much

the front sits so much higher then the rear that i think even with sport springs in the front it would just even the ride heights out since the rear is low....but yea i guess i'll go with H&R all around however what about scrapping issues, like the top of the tires hitting the fender well durring hard compressions or a sudden drop that makes the car rise and fall severly

It'll be ghetto man. The spring rates will be different for one thing.

It won't look ghetto, but it would throw the suspension off. I traded my E90 for an E92, same wheels on both. The coupe sits WAY high in the front. Not like the E90 at all. I personally have never lowered any of my BMW's, but this will be the first. The front sits up a good 2" higher than the rear.

If you go with H&R sports, it will level it off right. Do a search, you'll see the pics. That is what I am going to do, it pisses me off that I have to, but it looks like ass the way it is. Look at pictures of the stock 335, you'll see the gap in the front. With 19" wheels it makes this effect worse IMO.

No, the guys at Carrozerria Design and I both agree that the back will rub for sure becuase of the tires being a little larger then most peoples low profiles. So the plan is this: Until i change out my tires in the next 10-12 months for tires that are smaller and will give me less sidewall height and stretch across the wheel a bit. I bought a set of H&R sport springs and talked to Longtran and we're going to install the springs on just the front first. We'll check it out, drive it around and if it looks ok and drives ok then we'll keep it that way until i change the tires, then we'll put the rear springs on too. But if it ends up being wack then we'll install the rears as well, however, Carrozerria deffintly thinks the rears will rub and that the gap in the rear is fine because of the added side wall. The H&R sport springs are only suposed to drop the rear by an inch.....which is actaully ALOT if you see the rear of my car in person, you can fit 2 fingers in-between the fender and tires in the rear now, so after an inch....i dunno we might have rubbing issues which i dont wanna deal with and wont deal with. They also recomended to put on a rear sway bar and that that would be a very good thing to do given the front only spring setting my car will probably have for the next year (and sways dont hurt regardless of my spring settings). So thats the deal, i'll keep you guys updated and post pics of the car after the spring swap.

i'd put it on springs all around and then just add a little bit of camber as needed

if you install just the sport springs in the front, you will get unbalanced handeling, due to different spring rates.

try it, let us know how it feels, and let me know how the install goes and how long it takes, because i have to install my koni yellows in a few weeks, and what a better understanding of what i should expect.
