2011 335i and USB stick compatibility

Ok, looking to possibly pull the trigger on one of two 2011's. Both have one of my requirements: ipod/USB.

Are there known compatibility issues with certain USB sticks? Don't want to buy a couple that have known issues. If people could list one they know work, that would be great. Looking at 64GB models.

Also, has FLAC actually been tested to work or not? I know it is not officially supported, but that does not mean it will not work.

No flac and every stick I have used has worked with fat32 formatting except a microSD card with a USB adapter.
