I had a similar problem when I installed the JB+
My issue was that I had the device flipped around 180 degrees (not the wrong ends, duh). You will know if it is in correctly because it will have a little bit of resistance. When I first tried plugging it in, it was way too loose. Check engine light, and limp mode came on, but once I put it in correctly, all was normal. I just purchased a BT tool because I don't want to take any chances. I would suggest you do the same. |

I just took the intake out, going over to bmw tomorrow and am going to stop by autozone so that they can do a scan for me to tell me exactly why the engine light came on

My dad took the car in today, just texted him about an hour ago, he said they where asking him about what had been in the car and stuff. He said that the warrenty was not voided but if it happens again it will be. They said they where going to call later today after they figure out whats wrong with the car. I hope they dont change their mind and void the warrenty.

I didnt see the need for a bt tool, i was running at 50% i've never heard of codes being thrown at 50%, im not even sure if codes where thrown, they where just asking about what mods where in the car they didn't say anything about codes being thrown and a tune in the car. So im not really sure what to expect yet. When i get home and talk to my dad in person i'll let everyone know whats up
