Item Interest
Due to selling my car, I'm now selling some of the parts that the new owner does not wish to keep. Among them also the big brake kit from Performance friction.

The kit is currently installed on my car but will be removed in the next 2 weeks. It is in excellent condition, as good as new.

This is a set that is just as good if not better than those from Brembo, StopTech or AP. Some key features (for more details see here: REVIEW: Performance Friction BBK):
  • monobloc caliper made out of aluminium
  • 4-piston design with one brake pad per piston
  • lightweight molybdenum iron alloy ventilated rotors
  • dimpled discs, 355mm front / 370mm rear
  • retains the original rear parking brake
  • stainless steel brake lines
  • fits under all 19" wheels and under quite a few 18" wheels (I drive it myself with OZ Alleggerita wheels in 18")
  • installed in 2012, driven for about 15.000km / 10.000 miles
  • brake pads are still ok, do not need to be replaced immediately (street pads from Performance Friction)
  • calipers are painted in blue (see photos)
  • Price new: about 8.500 USD
  • My price (shipping included): 4.800 USD

Please refrain from asking for a "last price". It is a very fair offer for a fantastic kit that is simply made for the track and looks fantastic, in particular as I will have to ship it from Europe to the US. If the buyer is in Europe or can even pick it up here, a rebate will be granted.

Hi did you mean 370mm front and 355mm rears? You mention the other way round which is rather confusing.

No. I meant what I wrote which is why I wrote it. I also mentioned in my extensive review that the reason for the rear discs being larger than the front discs is that the handbrake drum is integrated into the rear brake.

Just to avoid any misunderstandings: The kit is currently in Luxembourg / Europe. The price mentioned above includes shipping to the U.S.

The brakes have now been removed from the car; below are a few photos of how they look.

Everything is in excellent shape; all 4 discs show little wear and can still be reused for thousands of miles. The brake pads also have a lot of miles left in them: The rear pads show very little use, the front pads are at about 50%.

This really is a bargain for whomever wants to upgrade the brakes. You get a high-end BBK in fantastic condition for half the price you would pay for it new.

Please note: The kit is located in Luxembourg / Europe but can be shipped to the US. Price shipped: 4800 USD.

1) Rear brakes

2) Front brakes

Next car won't be a BMW. That's all I'm going to say right now.
