M3 interior door handle

I had a extra black M3 door handle in leather part#51417898926. it's a nice little upgrade, from the plastic to leather. Thought I would share the info.

How much, i guess this is for rear passenger side? And this is inner and outer complete set, inner goes into door panel after removing panel and soldering it?

Can you explain how the front and rear right doors are not the same? When I look up 51417898926 for an E90 M3 in RealOEM, the part number for the front and rear leather handles are the same.

I came across this post while researching leather replacement for my E90.
I want to use an E92 Dakota leather handle to match the grain. And source an RHD E92 piece for the LR door.

All I can say is when I take off the 1 one the front, it wont fit the back. It just wont snap in.

Just to follow up. I bought another black Schwarz leather door handle off ebay for $40 and then I bought a M3 inner door handle 51418045266 for $73.61 from BMW of Atlantic City and they went together perfectly.
The M3 part is 51418045266
regular 3 series 51417230850
The M3 part is the same for both right-side doors

E92 leather cover wont fit to E90

I had a similar issue on the fitting of E92 leather. I will talk on the case based on my RHD E90.

Through my own research, the part# of the plastic cover(#51419150335) for LH) the same for both E92 and E90.

Then I decided to use the Dakota leather cover the one from E92 for E90. However the leather cover was not able to be snapped in to inner cover. It looks like the clip shape on the outer cover are different between the plastic type and leather type.

To my further research, I realized that the clip shape on the leather outer cover for both E90 M3 and E92(other than M3) are the same.

Therefore it is safer to have M3 inner cover(#51418045266) changed for fitting the leather type of the inner cover.
