I'm now glad I didn't run. Took the car in for some supposedly minor issues, like the front end and a squeak in the steering column. Thought it was the TSB about the early manufacturer issues with the top end. They spent all day Friday trying to find the noise (which they can hear) and are now thinking it is transferring to the cabin from down in the axle somewhere. I could just hear that fight:
"Well, it looks like from the tire bits and marks that you've been driving more aggressively/racing, so we're not going to cover these repairs under warranty.

Without adding/changing a part, I can't foresee dealers beginning to do something like that - especially being so addicted to "all 5's", as they are. I guess it comes down to how much you want to drive on a course. Good luck with the noise.
