It's good to know that you guys are testing these batteries in your project cars with good results

Thanks Harold!
We wouldn't sell anything we don't feel comfortable using in our own/shop cars.

Btw, add me to the list of people for the Braille (21lb model) and mounting kit.

I've seen the Braille B3121 (21lb model) used on a Mk4 Golf RS32 with a VF Engineering supercharger kit and 2 amp/12" JL sub/3-way speakers in front audio system, and it worked flawlessly in that car.

If we can get close to 25 people interested, we will go ahead and make a run of 25 units. At that number of units, the price for the hold down kit would be $85.

As for the battery, there are a few choices:

SKU: B3121
Weight: 21 lbs

At 21 pounds the Braille B3121 offers over 1300 cranking amps, but still weighs 50% less than its closest competitor. Perfect for Audio Systems, Extreme Motors, and Premium Luxury Vehicles! More details...
Price: $179.99

or

SKU: B2015
Weight: 15 lbs

The Spec B2015 is also perfect for daily street use, even in colder climates. Braille developed the B2015 to excel at racing and to easily power street vehicles equipped with A/C, stereos and power accessories. More details...
Price: $159.99

or

SKU: B14115
Weight: 11 lbs 8 ozs

The battery that started the revolution – The B14115 is the most popular lightweight automotive specific battery on the market today! With a weight of only 11.5 pounds and plenty of power to start V-8 engines, see why racers and car designers demand this battery. More details...
Price: $149.99

If you choose to use the Carbon Fiber batteries, prices are $70-$80 more per battery:

I hope I was able to answer all your questions.

I would like one as well. The carbon fiber batteries weigh in the same as the regular batteries, so i would just want the non carbon one. How much does the stock battery weigh?

So are you saying the $179, 21 lbs battery will be $85 if there are 25 people? Just trying to clarify

Only if you knew how much the CNC program set-up fee is on top of actual product. Perhaps we are just wasting our time here!

We can easily make a universal mounting kit such as that or just simply sell that particular mounting kit, but it will not easily fit in the E9x chassis or other BMWs.

Well, considering I have the mounting bracket I bought for $76 the 6lb battery for $133 (21 lb battery is $171), I was able to install the new battery/bracket in my racecar in a matter of minutes. Don't get me wrong, I'm all for buying from forum "sponsors" if I don't have to pay more. I personally have no intensions on buying the battery/bracket for my e90...can't see a huge benefit on saving 35 lbs on a 3835 lb car with me in it. Now, the reason I was inquiring was because i was going to buy "ANOTHER" 6 lb battery as a backup for my race car. Regarding CNC and don't know your "FEE" and not sure if you are partnered with anyone, but I have several contacts and could possibily give you their information to save you money (note: teams make parts for race teams, one company makes carter fuel pumps, another makes the fuel pumps for the nascar race teams, etc). I have had several things done and the "fee" is not relative to me. See how nice I'm being...No reason to go overboard about the above post...merely stating the facts...that's all. Cheers! And have a nice day.

Then there is no need to treat any forum sponsors like a flea market operator.

Everyone seem to know everyone and some claim to be a marketing guru and can sell a buch of products if we comp him/her one, but at the end is just looking for a deal for him/herself. We know who is really working hard on pushing a certain product for us and will be rewarded/comp parts or services.

If you have read through the entire thread, we have mentioned the price for 25 units. If more people are interested, the price will go down for sure.
