I recently installed German Auto Solutions thrust arm monoballs into my M3 arms. They cost $250 plus a $35 tool rental fee ($200 deposit)

I had been having issues with front end stability under hard braking and was advised by some track guys to install these.

I had read online of people having increased NVH on monoballs in general and other noting no increase in NVH. I was on the fence between these and the powerflex bushings.

Install was easy, and GAS has a step by step video on their YouTube. It took me about an hour and a half taking my time. I would highly recommend renting their tool as it removed the old bushings and pressed in the new monoball with ease.

I have now driven a few hundred miles on them, and I am very satisfied with the result.

I noticed zero increase in NVH, and have driven them on very poor roads.

Braking stability is greatly improved, with no sloppiness like before. Aslo, the old M3 bushings only had 40k miles on them and had no visible damage or play.

Turn in feels much better, with an improvement in steering feel.

In summary I would say these are a total win. I spoke to someone else today who had these in for 40k mile with street and track and no issues.

Next up are aluminum rear subframe bushings
