Oil filter housing, oil/water heat exchanger / oil cooler from n52 n51 3-series - $65
Are you driving one of the n52 or n51 laden cars that came from the factory with zero supplementary oil cooling? Going to replace your oil filter housing gasket soon? Water pump / Tstat? Coolant flush? any of those would make installing this easier, but not bad on its own. Easier to drop in on an auto transmission (a couple hoses needed on an M/T) but this is one way to bring down max oil temps and add faster warm-ups to boot. Cheap. Located near Charlotte NC but shipping should be reasonable to the lower 48. |
