So I busted my clock spring last week and I Installed the new one. I got my airbag, seatbelt and steering lights cleared but as soon as I turned the wheel to turn out of the parking lot, they came back. I think that my wheel was turned a little to the left when I busted the clock spring so there is a little error in steering angle.
Straight tires don't equal straight wheel.. I'm at a lose to figure this out but I'm perfecting popping the airbag and taking off the steering wheel.

When replaced the clock spring on my Mk4 Jetta, I had to have it reprogrammed with VW software. Did you have the new clock spring programmed?
That's my initial impression--not sure if it that's the case with the E90. |
