GO WITH REMUS RACE.
I have a AR design catless dp and a remus race slip on. Sounds fucking amazing. nice and aggressive, but doesnt sound to synthesized. Doesn't drone at all and im able to drive it normally with out breaking my ear drums, however put your foot down and its like sweet sex. also, love the crackling when you lift of and slow down past 2500 rpms. |

Well, looks like my next mod is the performance exhaust.

I was just going to post a new topic asking about which exhaust I should consider for my 335is, I came from a 2011 335i with BMW Performance Exhaust, and I have to say it was more aggressive and I like it better than the "stock" exhaust on the 335is, even though for some reason I thought they were the same.
I'm going to look into the Remus

I did not, just a stock 335i with "performance edition" package and the BMW performance exhaust. I ordered my 335i in the last month or so of production that year. Anyhow I did a little searching and it seems most people agree the BMW PE is louder and more aggressive than the stock 335is exhaust, that makes me sad, was hoping for the same.

At first it was Akrapovic. Then I heard Meisterschaft...then I heard Armytrix, Remus, Corsa, Borla, BMW PE , etc. Searched forever!!!
If money wasn't an issue... M5 Comp exhaust with DP. Next Armytrix, then Meisterschaft. IMO the others are in a lower tier IF we were tiering everything...kinda like NFL quarterbacks. I heard an new M5 exhaust (stock) last weekend at the dealership and I got a chubby. It sounded amazing!! Bottom line...go with a V8 to get a V8 sound...obviously...M5 competition with DP is my favorite. I've had Borla atak w/o DP and it was just OK in my previous F30. Had catless dp w/straight mids, and the drone sucked, smelled and was way too loud. Currently have catted dp (vrsf) and Corsa and it still isn't doing anything for me. If you want the mean deep throaty sound...start with a V8. |
