Who at Motiv? Jake has done a ton for the community but he's been so buried.

There's not a damn thing wrong with BQ's tunes. The highlighted statement is more a reference to not even bothering to look at those tables while making a tune than anything, of course he knows where they're at.

I've ran his tunes from the beginning and my motor is just fine. A dozen 1/2 mile events on stock turbos and have never been outrun by another stock turbo N54. Doesn't matter what kind of weight reduction nonsense they used, meth, tune, drag radials, etc. same results. Kind of speaks for itself when you can run in the 11's on street tires and a 2.1-2.3 60 ft.

That said, I'm on the list for the next round of Helix units going out and should play nicely with the set of Pure600's that just went in.

I can concur with this, as I ran 12.4's all day when it was over 90 degrees out and 80% humidity. If I use launch I could probably get in the 11's.

I ran 12.1 with 119 mph 1.9 60 ft on shitty ass tires and this was my first run of the day in California also the tires were not deflated. I also have 5.5 inch small intercooler (got 7.5 vrsf now) on my stock turbos and am tuned by P U R E E V I L T U N I N G. fbo inlets and outlets on e60 tune. Am gutted somewhat as well. Talk about that! Also Jason will be able to tune with the helix as well. I Hes pricey but worth it. Btw my dynamic autowerks 775rs turbos about to show up in couple days then I have to spend another 1k to get the helix. No point to have those turbos without it. (I will post my slip for anyone who doesn't belive me)

Is the Spool overdrive until the same as the Helix? There is a post on here from a guy with the Helix overdrive unit....Mandy it sounds like a bearing or gear(s) is failing on it.

Yeah, same unit. I heard that video too but I can't comment on it since I don't have one. Seems loud but you are over driving a system. I'll be curious to hear what the issue it.

It's the same type of planetary gear set used to overdrive the output shaft that you see in all automatic transmissions.....and they don't sounds like that.

It definitely sounds like a gear or bearing wear issue.
