FRM2 Upgrade - Open Door issue

Hi guys,

just swapped out the FRM on my E91 330i to a FRM2 and coded the whole thing (VIN Update + FA via NCS).

Everything works except for the module doesnt recognize that the drivers door is closed and there for I cannot lock the car.

Is this coding related?

This is already the second FRM2 with that issue so I dont think its the module. with the original, everything is working fine.

I had pretty similar issue with my FRM2 upgrade, same VIN and FA coded. Similar because the door warning was appearing when the headlights were turned on. They were LED. I replaced the bulb and the issue was fixed. No coding helped even cold and warm checks.

If you originally had FRM and you replaced it with an FRM2, I believe you should re-program it with WinKFP first. Comfort mode should select the proper ZUSB.

Then, if your build date is before 03/2007 when FRM2 didn't exist, you must trick NCSExpert into thinking your build date is later in order to code it. Read the VO (FA) from CAS when starting up NCSExpert and add #0307 to it.

At this point NCSExpert will show you NFRM (FRM2) instead of FRM so you should default code (SG_codieren from "expert" or "factory coding" mode) the NFRM and probably CAS as well.

Did you ever get this sorted? I have exact same problem. Nothing works, i have coded FRM2 module as it should and it doesn't recognize driver door closing.
Any advice?
