Autocouture if you're close Jersey, MChanics in Mineola, Redz in New Hyde Park are all options that have good reputations with people I know.

I personally DIY for just about everything, but I had ACM do my M3 rod bearings because the labor was too intensive and specialized.

Thank you for your reply. I just submitted her to BAT, we shall see what the market has to offer.

Bought with ~128k just under two years back. Service history isn't perfect but carfax shows it's been looked after regularly. PPI done by German Master Tech in Bend, OR.
I don't need to sell it, but recent life changes mean I don't drive much, planning to downsize to a one-car family to focus on other things.

Photos: https://photos.app.goo.gl/6fj9cHEiGf2DaWuTA

Recent Maintenance:
- Michelin Pilot A/S 4s (95% tread)
- Full corner balance/alignment from racing suspension shop, suspension bushings all in great shape
- Trans fluid (2x) / filter change
- Oil / filter change
- Fresh engine and cabin air filters
- Radiator flush
- New coolant reservior
- Replaced oil filter housing gasket
- Hatch struts replaced
- Misc lightbulbs
- OEM Bosch battery replaced by dealer before I bought it (~2.5yrs old)

Includes a load of new parts from FCP Euro for complete refresh:
- All coolant hoses
- Waterpump kit
- Valve cover/gasket set
- Engine and trans oil pan gaskets
- Engine and trans mounts
- Driveshaft flex disc and bearing
- Power steering fluid reservoir
- Various trim clips and fasteners
- Serpentine belt
- Others I'm forgetting

Disclosures:
- Though PPI gave a good review for the trans, it does flare shift a bit, mostly cold condition. May just be mech seals or worn valve body
(low mile 128i trans are plentiful and cheap, or candidate 335i swap)
- Few rock chips on the frontend
- One shallow dent on driver's side rear door about 6" (guessing ball strike in a parking lot)
- Few more minor dings and scratches (see photo detail in yellow circles)
- Moonroof shade headliner sag, easy fix for upolstry shop.
$5500 anyone? PM me.

Thanks Cyberdemon
I'm about to get the 2011 wagon and the PPi suggests the Oil pan gasket I'd like to shop around and see which one would be my best bet

Thank you for your input. I did have an extensive call with the shop that did the PPi and no red flags as such other than the tires and the oil pan gasket. With that said I'm using some reference cars from BaT, like @Biggins e91 to understand the potential items getting rusty and comparing it to the vehicle I intend to purchase. I have been told by the PPi shop as well as the selling dealer that the cars right and no known sounds as such.
I wanted to order the tires from tire rack and have them replaced by the selling dealer but he raised concerns about TPMS seizing given all the salt they use in MN. This raises a lot of concerns about other parts that have surface rust and need replacement over time like the Control arms Tie rods etc which might be a PiTA should it need to be replaced in the near future.
The good thing is I have all the service records for everything addressed in this vehicle given it's a one owner.
Could someone chime on the oil pan gasket replacement costs and if we need to remove the CV axles to perform the task.
I'm very grateful to all the insights I receive from this platform to make an informed decision
Thank you🙂🙏🏼
TPMS seizing? That's a new one for me. The important parts are inside the wheel. Anyway, I agree with Cyberdemon that they are cheap to replace, and ten years is about the limit to their batteries. I spent less than $400 including labor to replace all four on my e91 last year.
Apparently the valve stems and the rims are different metals and have a galvanic reaction in salt land

The E90 M3 6MT market is on vertical fire right now since they are rare compared to the E92 (only just over 5867 imported E90 M3s and 3135 of those are 6MT), but the E92 market is similarly appreciating of course. You won't find a very low mileage as-new example for less than $50k, but you can find some in the $35-40k range. I'd couple one of those and an average condition E91 to arrive at a super fun car for special times and a useful beater E91 which you can add some suspension mods, wheel mods to in order to improve upon the stock rolly-polly slop setup.

Yeah for that price I'd either be getting an F31 or just put a roof box on an E90 that's nuts.

I sold my pristine blue E90M with only 58k for $47.5 a few weeks back. No way could I justify a 230hp engine for that kind of money. Even my 335 is a snooze fest compared to the M3.

It has an earlier style HVAC dash panel for some reason (i.e. note the location of the heated seat buttons), 2009 or earlier.

Question about Non-Navi no Idrive single hump e91's, does the factory BMW professional radio have BT for phone only or for audio streaming as well? If no audio streaming what are the options? Also are there any suggested brackets for mounting the phone similar to the ten kit bracket for 911's? Any insight would be appreciated

Just BT for phone I believe. I think you need iDrive for the Combox to be a thing.

Google tune2air, it'll do what you're asking for, though make sure to unplug it from your car if you're not driving for a couple days. It will kill your battery, ask me how I know.

To your first question, I have several e9x's. Some with hump and some without. Definitely the cars without hump have BT phone only with no audio. I have one with hump and BT audio, and one with hump and no BT audio. My experience buying these things is that BT audio is a rare option.

To your next question, I have ProClip mounts in all of my cars. They work really well. You buy a base specific to your car, and a phone mount specific to your phone model: https://www.proclipusa.com/

As mentioned the audio BT streaming requires Combox which I'm pretty sure only was available with iDrive, *and* it was only there for 2011.5 and onward E9x models (at least as far as the M3 is concerned). "2011.5" is the moniker given to cars produced in Sept 2010 (somewhat ironic) and onward (note the 2011 model year started with March 2010 production for the USA). A number of other changes/additions were added for 2011.5, but I'm mainly familiar with the M3 in that respect (have owned a 2011.5 for 10 years), but I assume the overall E9x is similar. You'll sometimes see (in the M3 circles anyway) reference to 2011.75 and that only added BMW apps as of Mar 2011 production, so nothing significant.

Would the BT car kit with an audio Jack from Amazon work well to stream music from pandora or Spotify?
Or are there any integrated kits available out there
I was able to get the BT kit from rennkit to plug in my 911 hence looking for something similar

There is cheap aux to Bluetooth adapters on Amazon.
Find one that needs a power source to turn on. That way it turns off when your car turns off.
Your phone connects to the adapter via Bluetooth and plays through the aux.

I use this one. Works great, agressive pairing so it connects with the phone almost instantly after switching the ignition.

I bought this one at Walmart, I'm happy with it since I can keep it inside the armrest console....it has a battery so doesn't always have to be connected to a power source.

This is a good one.
It automatically connects and disconnects from your phone.
I’ve tried the battery powered ones and they need to be manually turned on and your phone keeps sending music to it if it’s not off.
