MHD thermostat strange behaviour

Hello,

I have a car 335i E90 {N55 PWG}.

I had a problem about water pump and I bought a new one (OEM) from ECS. It works fine. In general, oil temperature in my case is in range (220F;245F). If driving extremely aggressively, it hits 250F.

I bought MHD super license and I made all kind of modifications to install MHD stage2+. Catless downpipe, big intercooler, performance radiator, etc.

Once I install MHD stage2+ and drive ~100KM (I was driving very slow, because I installed new bearings as well) I realize that oil temperature was in the range (160F;190F), sometimes it was increasing and then decreasing again (This time, heater does not work at all). During driving, from 190F it decreased to 160F. When I read error codes using MHD, I got a message:

`348A - Map thermostat: clamped open`.

Then I decided to go back on stock map and delete MHD stage2+, after this everything fixed (No thermostat problem anymore and OIL temperature is fine as it was before). `348A - Map thermostat: clamped open`, this message dissapeared as well.

Any ideas ?

Why this happens ? If thermostat has a problem, it must have a problem on stock map, isn't it ?

Thanks !
