2009 E92 M3 in Dakar Yellow 2. Don't @ me about the tinted tail lights. This was a iND portfolio car and they supplied a lot of the aftermarket mods including the tinted clearcoat tails.

Normally I don't like yellow cars but yours is beautiful.

As far as I know, probably legal. I haven't heard of anybody being pulled over for them and they've been on the car since 2009.

There’s always disclaimer for off road use only. Not sure any state is ok with lower visibility on lights and tails considering auto manufacturers have guidelines on just how bright they are. (A discussion I had with a Chrysler engineer) Brake lights let people behind you know you’re slowing down or stopping. Dimming them means there’s less warning, less reaction time, ie. more chance for accidents. There are plenty fix it tickets issued for burnt out turn signal bulbs for the amount of drivers that don’t even use turn signals. For the cops it’s all up to who you drive by. If you have too dark of windows for regulation often it’s tacked onto other infractions such as speeding turning on red when posted not to and so forth. Pretty sure if you buy anything of nightshade it’s clearly marked off road use only.

I technically have never been pulled over for tinted tail lights ever in my life.

However, my wife has. Driving my tinted-tail lighted car. Man was she furious
