My every day driver needs a replacement set up for the suspension. I wrench myself. Recommended and where to purchase?

Do you have Xdrive? Be careful when ordering, because I think all Xdrive come with the standard suspension, regardless of M-sport package.

I would just go with Bilstein from FCP Euro.

I'd go koni yellows as the cheapest decent shock/strut. YMMV

I have used Bilstein B4's on several BMW's, including an e91, all with either sport or m-sport suspension. Mostly purchased through FCP, along with their installation kits. Very happy with them.

I've been happy with Koni Str.t (orange, non-adjustable and basically OEM equivalent). Koni yellows are also great.

I think it depends on what kind of look and ride you want. A good replacement for the MSport set up is Bilstein B4 shocks with Eibach pro springs. Fractionally lower than stock and rides really well. Have them on e91 330d and can't fault them.

People rave about the Bilstein B12 pro kit and would like to try it myself at some point but need to get it 100% before going for a more aggressive setup .

Especially since you're in the same state, check FCPEuro.
