Dyno Day - Saturday, May 16 - Carb Connection

Original thread here

A member of another forum has setup a dyno day at Carb Connection for May 16. Figured I'd make a post here since I know there are a few that wanted to dyno again.

I'm still not 100% sure if I'm going, but am on the list for now.

What: BMW Dyno Day
When: Saturday, May 16 starting at 10:00am
Where: Carb Connection, 13611 NE 126th PL, Suite 240, Kirkland, WA 98034
Price: $75.00 (HP, TQ, Boost, AFR for as many runs as it takes to yield consistent numbers)

Who:
1. m32911s
2. Todor
3. Huy
4. ericsmc83
5. johnnywash1
6. lpphreakx06
7. Septro

They're getting installed today. And let's just say they have to keep the car overnight lol - He quoted my 6-7 hours @ $90hr.

The XI is a backbreaker - but he thinks he can take care of it. I was soo gonna attempt it myself and glad I didn't. We'll see tomorrow.

Shit son! Almost as much as the DP's themselves!

Here's to hoping they can get it done quicker!

Group 2 completely underestimated the springs install on my M5. Not only did I pay $150 more than originally quoted, they scuffed up one of my rear wheels doing the alignment and they scratched my bumper.

Yea well someone has to be the guinea pig for the northwest.. lol The RWD cars should be a snap from here on out. I wouldn't let them quote more than 4 hours max.

I'm gonna beat them up for a discount by saying all you guys here will get your DPs put on at their shop - don't let me down lol

Nice Joe....after dyno it's PR time. I'm not sure if you will have enough time before departure.

I can't even commit for this weekend, too much family activities.

Wow, sorry to hear that. I'd be pissed. Neither one of those are cheap to replace.

Updated the list!

I'm thinking Joe's gonna have the highest numbers of the day with the new DP's...and maybe some left over race gas?

WTF, if downpipes are the only thing you are installing I recommend going to extreme auto center in Marysville, I think they charged $60-80? I've been there twice and highly recommend them. They have done over five dp installs on 335i's so they are very familiar with them.
