I will probably go back to stock as I dont like the fact the gearbox shifts very early in the upper gear (below 2000 rpm) . Can someone with Stage 3 confirm if its holding longer the gears at acceleration in D mode?

When in D mode at light throtle, is the gearbox shifting in the next gear below 2000 rpm? Or is it holding the gear more?
Somehow I got used with the old software and knew when torque converter was locked in the lower gears so I would apply more throtle afterwards. Car would rev to 2500 rpm and then shift. With stage 2 in D if I am doing the same car will shift below 2000 rpm . |

OK, so out and about today and I made a note of my very light throttle gear changes for you.
Yes, the gearbox shifts to the next gear before 2000rpm. 4th is at 38mph and 5th comes in at around 49mph. I actually really like this (over stock) as it makes a much smoother relaxed drive than before. Obviously if you use more throttle then the shift points change. In sport mode, on very light throttle the gear changes occur around 2500rpm.

OK so first post. Ive got a 325d lci with a bluefin map 260bhp and 400ft/lb. I've found the stock auto box map to be really really slow and clunky, I've also found myself driving on the paddles all the time and not enjoying the 8 grand I'd just spent on the car however after flashing xHp stage 2 I'm now enjoying my car as I should. Torque converter locks awesome, pulls away in first, holds gears longer and does kick down when you activate the switch at the end of the accelerator pedal. I've recently had a fuel supply issue with my car (004560) that I'm investigating atm so ive flashed back to stock and the gearbox map suits the standard car pretty well too. Having way more power is great and makes the car much more fun but without the gearbox map it's only half a job. my advice would be to flash the gearbox to stage 2 before you do any remapping as it makes a subtle but important improvement to the way these cars drive. If you think stock is better than xHP stage 2 then perhaps you should buy a 3 pedal car.

I was running the stage 2 v.1.3 for the past 3 months and I wasnt sure if the v1.5 brings any other improvements besides the warmup behavior, therefore my question.
