The colors are awesome. The maps they used much more contrasting colors for, so it is much easier to understand. So much clearer. All of the color scheme is different. Much easier on your eyes, especially at night, and much more contrasting, so it's easier to see.

Looks and matches real well to the black and aluminum interior..

Lawyer screen is on for like 5 seconds (if that) and goes away. Its incredible. That alone is worth the update. And if you drive for a bit, turn off the car, turn it back on, it doesn't come up at all. And when it does come up, it's just in the left side in the screen. The status bar on the bottom is still there, etc..

I think the greatest thing to me is the information. Now when you search for locations, it gives you the address and phone number after you click on it. I don't have bluetooth so before if I looked up a place, I could either "select as destination" or "call (greyed out)", I would then need to call information (which costs $1 each time roughly) to get the number and then call the place to see if they're open/make a reservation, etc..

All that information is there now. It's beautiful. I was really angry with the old setup that I didn't get bluetooth.. And thought if you can't call them they should at least give you the damn number.

Now it gives you town when you are searching for the place, and address and phone number when you click on it.

POI search is there. I have to try that later. I got to that screen, said sweet, and didn't really try doing a search.

Overall though - Much much faster. Especially entering addresses and such. It use to be slow as molasses. I am really happy with this update.

I'm trying to think what else is different. I don't have bluetooth, so I cannot comment if anything changed in there. Climate I think was mostly the same, entertainment I think was mostly the same. I think most the improvements were made in the navigation quadrant. Minus all of the colors and fonts..

Don't forget:
AUX is now included in the "next audio source" button on steering wheel.

Correct. Since I don't have an Ipod, I don't really like that, but I could understand those with an ipod would want that. It should give you an option which ones to scroll thru. That would be real nice. Pretty much I go between mp3 cd or satellite. Every now and again FM. But going through Am is a joke for me, and aux now..

slow idrive (still slow but not as much)
arrow display not showing. (the upgrade fixed this)

There is something interesting with POI's on the map. Now if you click on the i on the left side it brings up a small menu, instead of just turning them on and off.

Arrow display is fixed now. It's great. Though usually I like the perspective map left and arrow right.
