Nav Disc North America 2007-2

Upon reading the forums, I noticed ppl were looking for the lastest nav dvd for north america. I have the latest version according to bmw, 2007-2.

I'm willing to share it since I know it is kinda expensive to buy but I hear it is kinda complicated to rip. I haven't tried ripping it yet since I have the orginal copy.

If anyone is intrested, let me know.

It's not complicated.. you rip it like any data DVD and you end up with an ISO file. It is completely different from ripping a video DVD but a simpler process (no decryption or transcoding).

I will rip it this weekend and test it. Once I can sucessfully read the ripped disc, I will glady share it.

Can I use a regular dvd media?

I backed up my 2007.2 DVD and copied it onto a generic DVD+R disc and it works fine. I use the copy in the car and put the original in a drawer.

I used Roxio Toast on OS X and just used DVD copy.

It has been up for at least three months.

Alrite, I used my favorite, MagicIso to dump an ISO image and then burned it to a DVD RW, then tested it on my Nav with I-drive with New Destination and POP. The disc worked prefectly with no errors.

I appericate everyone interest and as I said earlier I willing to share it to members on this forum

If someone can come with an idea to upload to a global share where everyone can get it for "Free"

. let me know but remember I'm using Bell Sympatico and their upload sux! max 350kbps.
Also with the hope, someone who get 2008 Nav will do the same.

yeah i got 2007.2 from here back in july. thanks to all those who shared.

@op. might not be such a good idea to charge $ for these disc, even for shipping. you never know WHO is reading these boards.

I have never uploaded to a torrent before so help me out here!

I have created a torrent file on Mininova. If you search with "bmw nav disc 2007 2" you will see the torrent.
How will the file be uploaded? or do I have to have my bit torrent software open for it to seed to other?

Alrite I figured it out. I'm now seeding the file off my computer. As I mentioned earlier I don't have great upload speed so please seed with other members.

Not that it matters to me.... but I would not want to see you get in trouble. You do realize what you are discussing here (uploading the disc to a torrent site) is a crime?

yeah that's what i though. I think i have it, but i dont use it since it takes longer to load then the original for some reason
