I need to do some work on my car and need a hard flat level surface.

I live in a townhouse complex and while the ground is concreted, it's sloped for water runoff.

I've tried searching for a garage or hardstand area to rent for the day but nothing seems to be available.

I live in the Redlands area of Brisbane.

Any suggestions?

I think you'll find that it is sloped

What about a large multi story car-park....on the top level?

It would be covered and likely a concrete floor that isn't sloped?

You're right—it would be covered and unsloped.

I need to jack the car onto stands and rotate the wheels, change the transmission pan, transmission oil, rear shock absorbers and one of the front fog lamps.

That will probably take a few hours and I was probably hoping for a little privacy. Worst thing would be if security or the like told me I had to move along or a car parked next to me and I didn't have room to manoeuvre the jack.
