E90 Electrical Gremlins! Please help!
Hi,
Ive got a 2009 330d coupe... 73,000... Owned for a couple of months. Awesome car to drive, great condition.. Have just had a quantum remap on it, really pleased with the way it drives now... HOWEVER.. Im getting an airbag and seatbelt light when I move more than 10m... The fuel guage seems to have a mind of its own. I got a low battery light the other day too. These may be completely unrelated to the remap, and Im guessing they probably are! Does anyone know much about this and can advise please as they are both driving me mad, I live in the middle of nowhere so its not the easiest thing to get to a decent garage! Thank you |

Have you tested the battery - quite a few "warning" faults can related to a 12v Battery which is on the way out
How old is your battery - do you know - it should be date stamped the can just "go" from one day to the next |

Airbag/Seatbelt issue maybe to do with occupancy sensor. Search for it as a common issue.
Never heard of the fuel gauge issue but could be sender in tank which is faulty. However as you mention possible battery issue that would be my first port of call. Tired batteries on these cars seem to create a massive list of oddities. |
