E92 Track Build — TT3 and More

Hello everyone,

Selling my E92 Track build after FINALLY completing it after what started as a COVID lockdown project spiraled out of control for the past 2 years. The car is now at a point that I’m happy with. However, I’m at a different point in life now than I was when the build started, so I’m looking to sell in order to make room in the garage and on the balance sheet for the next level.

Yes, I probably should have just built an M3. But, this was my daily for the better part of a decade. I have a lot of memories in this thing and wanted to break new ground in the N54 community, so I went through all the trials and tribulations of N54 track car nonsense — which did eventually pay off into a pretty trick little setup. The idea was to build a really solid E92 chassis and aero package, and then have a tuned N54 make the max power allowed for a TT3 power to weight ratio throughout a much broader part of the power band than you’d be able to achieve with a S65 and a e92 chassis. The result is pretty close to what I envisioned, it just took a long time to get there. I took inspiration from community members like Bernoo, Fstmtnbiker, and Dogbone, and had a lot of help from great shops like GTPeace and PDA in Washington DC ,and SCR Performance in Colorado.

This is a serious Time Trial build with pretty much every part of the car touched in one shape or another. With that said, it is still registered and insured, so if you want to drive it on the road, it’s possible you can. The car is tuned to run NASA TT3, so the power is low. The engine, cooling, and fueling setup can support up through TTU. The car is currently in indoor storage in Colorado.

I have no delusions of getting anywhere close to the money I have in the car. Take a look at the build sheet and photos and let’s chat. Plenty of additional photos available if people want to email and/or text. I’m sure I’ve missed some things — DMs open for anyone interested or if you’re just curious about the build.

What's a ballpark figure you are trying to get for the car?

I have no idea how much to offer but I do like what I see…
