BMW E90, 2011 Model, 328i Angel lamp question

Hi all - This is my first post in these forums as I have recently purchased a 2011 model BMW 328i x drive.

The vehicle comes with the original yellow color angel eyes and I would like to change these to the white color ones. I read a few posts which mentioned Lux v7 for the E90, but the price is a little steep and I was wondering if there are other cheaper options for me. I am based out of TO in Canada.

I have also attached the vehicle photo for your visual delight! Do check and confirm if these are stock xenon headlamps.

You can buy a set of cheaper ones, like I did and the LEDs won't last as long as the higher quality ones. Like the old saying you get what you pay for.

Kind of hard to tell from just the one picture but those look like LCI headlights which should've been more of a blueish/white not yellow. They also used LEDs not bulls for the halos. Can you get a closer picture of the headlight?

Search for HPB 160W. Been using them for over 3 years and have zero problem. Looks just as bright if not more than Lux at less than half the price.

Don't skimp. Unless your installing & coding your self, bumper R&R and coding can run you $250+/- alone... JMO We have the exact same rig and just upgraded to LED. I'll be installing HPB BMW LED Fog Lights tomorrow. I'll post some pics later this weekend.
Aloha!

Why not just get a bluer version of the halogen bulb?

I am using PIAA Hyper Arros and am very happy with the colour.

They are also a little brighter than the stock bulbs.

a) The low beam and high beam come from the same bulb which is in the projector housing. Please let me know what replacement LED I should go for. D1S or D2S

b) Which angel eye should I go for, I am looking at the white ones. Lux is expensive.

c) What fog lamp bulbs should I go for, socket type, please advise.

End of all, I am aiming 6000k with uniform output from all the above sources.

Our LUX H8 line of angel eyes are a great choice for you as well. We currently offer these in 3 options: the pure white LUX H8 189, the adjustable white LUX H8 V6, and the amber colored LUX H8 Gold. Please let us know if you have any questions about them we can help with

Do any of those options work with the fade on and off when unlocking or locking the car? I have some Lux 180 bulbs and they flicker when they fade on (i understand this is because they default to max brightness and cannot be dimmed).

Is there a d'immuable version? During the day they look great but I find them even too bright at night.

the LUX H8 189 are smoother but they do not fade like stock. this happens because we compensate for the normal dimming that the lights do to prevent them from flickering on normal operation. If we allowed them to dim on/off then they would be dim all the time during driving.
