The whole thing that started the E90 being sold was the lack of rear space, so the next car will categorically not be an E9x or F3x. Maybe an F10 or F11, or possibly an Audi A6 Avant (C7/4G). We shall see. I really fancy a F11 525d or 530d auto, but my list of must-haves are pretty specific: auto, sports seats, heated seats, widescreen nav & no tan carpets.

Well the search finally ended today, and I'm extremely pleased to share that I am staying in the BMW fold, having put a deposit down on a F11 525d Touring today. I'll share some pictures and specs in due course; I had to compromise on a couple of spec items I wanted, but seem to have compensated for it in other ways. All will be revealed in about 10 days when I'm back from California.

Hi I know you've sold your 320d but I was just wondering if you can help me out. I'm looking at doing a number of modifications on my 320d efficientdynamic and I was wondering if fitting 18" alloys is too big because of the efficientdynamic being lowered by 10mm or so.
Also how did you go about installing the short shifter as I can't find any tutorials anywhere. Thanks |
