They look great behind those wheels too! How long did it take to get used to the fluttering noise from the dimpled and slotted rotors? I am curious if it will get louder when I install the rears or if they will sound different since I will not be running the factory rotors in the rear. I have Cquence cut new rear rotors for me.

Wait the fluttering is noise is caused by the dimple and slotted rotors?! This whole time I thought it was a pad dragging from a poor bleed job I couldn't get right?!

Yeah its there... but got used to it. My next set will be driller or dimpled only, and not tracking it so not worried about the more efficient slotted aspect!

As Turner explains, dimpled AND slotted is just for show, street only applications:

Hahaha. That's funny. You didn't do anything wrong.

I may eventually go to the M3 rotors down the line since it would just require the brackets, but I am sure I can live with the noise. Hopefully I will have time to install the rear brakes this week. Work has been super slow.

Finally!!!!!!!

Did not find an option in ISTA-P for coding so I’m just gonna see how it goes.

I have an issue with the pad seeming to be too close to the hub. There is about 2-3mm on the outer edge of the rotor that is not getting contact and the inner edge of the pad hangs over a tad. This is causing a squeal when hot. I will remove the pads and chamfer the inner edges at a later date.

I ordered the rotors from Cquence brakes and it seems that the parking brake would work fine. Not that I have ever used it. Just sharing my experience.

For those interested, the F30 brake dust shields will not fit without modification. I ended up just trimming my shields, filing the edges and hitting them with some rattle can paint.

Did you use offset bushings, or drill/offset the hole to bring it out on disc. without one of these I could see the issue, I drilled mine and worked out well. I e fed up just pulling dust shields off. Nice job man!

I used the offset bushes. It’s not really bad but my OCD was kicking in.

Got it, and we are all proud to be OCD! and why I test-fitted and adjusted a bunch to get it perfect, but easier for me to adjust obviously.

I'll be putting up my eccentric bushings and Zimmerman 370mm dimpled slotted front rotors and rear R1 Concept matched e60 dimpled slotted rear rotors very soon. Anyone around Detroit through Dayton interested in them, they only have 3500 miles on them. Shipping is probably Uber expensive but willing to at buyers cost. 300 for all 4, bushings for 50

Smaller brakes, like these 340mm often don't clear even 19" rims because the caliper will be hitting the spokes towards the center of the rim. Remember, spoke design maters too, and offset, not only the size of the rim.
Nice to see you again amigo.

Look back to page 86, looks like 2 guys you can get them from (probably more but those I have seen, and ordered the full M4 bracket conversion myself since I can't stop tinkering). Just look back there. Good luck man!

Bout to do this myself. They should post these up in popular n54 websites and make some decent money off people that want to do the swap.

Well I finally got my 19's on this weekend so I can fit the 370's I have in the garage. Hopefully I'll get them on this coming up weekend.

So I thought I'd help myself and others by collecting the part numbers for viable replacement parts. Forgive me as I don't have them all, but I'd be happy to add them. Not sure if the original poster is still around that they could even add it to the front page.

Also, really need some confirmation on the 345x24mm ones for the rear. Esp the E60 models.

For each OEM number I provided, there is usually a Zimmerman version available that is cheaper.

FRONTS:
380mm
34112284809 / 34112284810 (L/R) - cross drilled two-piece

370x30mm
34106797606 - Reference OEM number for blanks (Zimmerman Blanks - ZIM-150291120 / 2-peice Zimmerman Blanks ZIM-150291132)
34106797603 - BMW Brake Disc Dimple and Slotted - (Zimmermann ZIM-150290520) There is also a semi-floating version of this with the same part number.

340X30mm
34116792223 - Blanks (ZIM-150290320)
34106797602 - Dimpled/Slotted (Zimmerman ZIM-150290620)

REARS:
345X24mm
34206894381/34206894382 - E60 Blanks {SOMEONE PLEASE CONFIRM THESE AS I WAS ALSO UNSURE AND COULDNT FIND CUSTOM D/S OPTIONS}

34206797607 (185mm hub) - F30 Blanks
34206797600 (185mm hub) - F30 Dimpled/Slotted (Semi floating version available. Zimmerman 150292032)

For those with smaller e-brake/parking brake - ie E90/E92 328i
34206797605/34206898719 (160mm HB) - F30/F20 Blanks (2-peice version available)
34206797598 (160mm hub) - F30/F20 Dimpled and grooved performance discs (2-peice version available)

For the enlightened -- ie. went for the full M3/M4 370x30mm rears
34212284811 / 34212284812 (L/R) - Cross Drilled two-piece

Dust Boots (FOR REBUILDS):
34116850935 - Front
34216877363 - Rear - Supersedes: 34216857153

I believe you can manually code via NCSExpert, if desired.
