I picked up a Black on Black N55 6MT M-sport E90 about 3 months ago and I couldn’t be happier. I never realized how rare these cars are

Black on black is the spec that I want. But I don’t think I can afford to be picky at this point haha. That is awesome for you. I almost broke down and bought a n54 LCI e90 yesterday but the dealership had horrible service and seemed like they did not want to sell the car. So I will continue my quest for a N55.

Used car lots might be the worst part about the current used car market, seems like everyone is trading in and cars are going to wholesale auctions to wind up at XYZ imports or ABC autohaus... very few private party listings these days.

Not bad. That is an N54 car which to me would not be worth shipping 2000 miles. It is clean and has some mods, I’d prefer stock though as I need to be CA legal

Yeah I think it was RR motors or something haha. The car can’t always sell itself when you staff is that terrible. I will find one private party I’m sure. Or something reputable

I agree with you to a point. But an owner reverting back to stock and not disclosing it was stage 2 for 50k miles is worse in my eyes. I’ve seen a few on FB stating fully stock, but have a box of used bolt on performance mods for sale on their account too

This one was just posted in the SF Bay Area! I think it's underpriced though so will sell fast!

Is trim > wood trim > bare aluminum trim for me. Since I’m getting a sedan I prefer the wood

When ordered, M-sport Sedans could be spec'd with what is called Glacier Silver trim. It is essentially the iS trim, but a lighter color. It goes very well with black interior IMO. Its also the same trim I have on mine so i'm a bit biased.

Like I said in first post....good luck buying one for a reasonable amount of money. The only reason why that Lemans Blue one in Raleigh is still for sale is because its priced about 2-4K too high and the seller likely is not budging on price. If he sits on it for long enough he will get 23.5K eventually.

Yeah. I spoke with the guy in Raleigh on the phone and was about to purchase it. He is a really cool guy, but I agree that price is a touch high. But keep in mind it has every option, ZPP, ZCV, ZMP and NAV, that is hard to find. I think part of him doesn’t want to sell it but he needs something bigger for family reasons. I’ve got a lead on a local 335i so I will probably be picking that up. I hope that CL post pops back up though.

I exchanged some emails with him too but the price is a little high and I don’t want anymore cars with black interiors even though I do like how this one looks
