2016 Year In Review by Wheels Boutique

This time of the year is by far our favorite… No, not because of the abundance of wrapped presents or merriment but rather because we take the opportunity to reflect on the last 12 months of hard work, blood, sweat and tears and showcase some of the sweetest eye candy to come out of Wheels Boutique. This calendar year brought quite the selection of beautiful projects so it was rather difficult to pick just one favorite per month – so we cheated and added a few extra here and there. The builds we chose, we feel, reflect some of our best work and remind us of the passion we all share for this industry. It’s been an amazing year and we couldn’t have done it without you all! Please share your thoughts and pick out a favorite if you can!

We appreciate all your feedback and would like to wish you a Happy Holidays and we can’t wait for what 2017 has in store!

- Team WB

January – Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8 x HRE P101
We were tired of waiting for a Hellcat Cherokee so we built our own. Equipped with a Whipple Supercharger, Meisterschaft Exhaust, Kooks Headers, H&R Springs, and HRE P101’s, the MOPAR guys better bring the heat with the official one or they’ll be falling short of ours.

February – Lamborghini Huracan x ADV05C Track Spec CS
The #TeamWB Huracan is definitely a head-turner even to this day. When current Huracan owners gush over your Vorsteiner Novara Body Kit equipped version you know you’ve done it right.

March – Mercedes-Benz SL63 Black Series x HRE P103
One of our personal favorites - this factory wide body SL63 from the maniacs at Mercedes’ Black Series Division had people at Amelia Island gushing. HRE’s P103’s finished in Brushed Clear kept everything rather classy.

April – Dodger Charger Hellcat x HRE 305M
American Muscle at its finest. Made in the USA Charger Hellcat on Made in the USA HRE 305M’s. What more can you ask for from this Purple People Eater?

May – Porsche 911 Carrera x HRE Classic 300
Some of us want our 991 to stand out but how do you go about doing that? Well, this customer added cup flares, a huge rear wing, and the Classic HRE 300’s. Yeap, no blending in here.

June - Team WB Ford GT x HRE S104
The twin-turbocharged monster – our beloved Ford GT. Don’t think we have to say much about this one…

July – Lifted G-Wagon, GT3RS, F80 M3, & Supercharged Huracan
July was a big month for us so we decided to present 4 for 4th of July. This list includes our first ever lifted Mercedes G63, An Ultra Violet RS, A Yas Marina Blue M3, and a VF Engineering Supercharged Lambo – all rocking respective HRE wheels. Happy birthday America!

August – 2017 Audi R8 x HRE P201
We didn’t take long to heavily modify a 2nd generation R8 – not even 1 full day to be exact. Two turbos, One Akrapovic Exhaust, and many wheel sets later we settled on these HRE P201’s in Naked Silver. Our favorite look for the German Supercar in a Tux to date.

September – Porsche 991.2 Cabriolet x HRE P200
One of the first 991.2’s in the world with premium HRE wheels, we brought this one to market as quickly as we could and we did so in style. These P200’s in Brushed Clear are the perfect complement to this Narrow Body when it’s top is up or down.

October – Ferrari 488 GTB & Mercedes-Benz S63 Coupe
Too close to call on this one so we decided to sneak in the wicked S63 AMG as a “Halloween Special”. That rocked HRE’s monoblock P201’s while the Italian used 3-piece S207’s. You can’t go wrong with either configuration.

November – TeamWB NSX x HRE P201
The World’s first 2nd generation NSX on premium aftermarket wheels – HRE’s newest flagship P201’s to be exact.

December – McLaren 570S x HRE P201 // BMW Z8 x HRE S207
Again, since it’s the holidays we decided to use two for this month – I doubt there will be any complaints Which ride do you think Santa would prefer? The Brit or the German?

Speaking of which, if you all made a 2017 calendar with these cars, I would absolutely buy it.
