M3 leather wrapped 3er console - $210 (Includes 6+ hours labor, $125 in supplies and materials, paypal fees, return shipping) - 5 left

Update 1/31: I've had to order a bunch more material to fix some accidental damage on my car so I can make a few more of these.

The leather center console cover from an M3 does NOT fit a regular 3 series with an automatic transmission and nor does it fit cars with manuals, and even if you significantly modify it, you'll have the problem of extra buttons. I networked with a long list of contacts from when I worked at a supercar performance shop to track down the Novillo leather that BMW uses on the M3 so I could wrap some peices of my car with it. What I found was the leather used on the M3 is litelrally the finest traditional cow leather in the world and it costs $600 for 16 square feet. I have some left from my current wrapping project and I'll wrap your console to help sell the expensive material I have left over. I have enough left over for 6 center consoles after setting asside some for my lower dash, glove box and lower center console.

I bought some of this material 3 months ago with the intention of just wrapping my sun visors and sunroof and had enough left over for 2 consoles. I sold both peices of Novillo leather I had to two customers with very satisfactory results, which match the M3 console so well that I actually use the OEM BMW M3 ash tray cover. If you don't like the idea of driving around without a center console I can wrap your console over the weekend and overnight it back to you with the added cost of the extran shipping.


Whatever trim you're trying to instal though this is the highest quality center console you can put in your car and it looks amazing.

No. Any 3 series with any options will do just fine.

No, BMW charges a reasonable price for the rear trim, $186 at Tischer, which includes the rear console lid and trim together. It's easier to buy the real thing for the rear console, which looks indentical side by side. Tischer is down the road so I can include the rear console with your order at no mark up.

The ash tray is $43 from Tischer. It's cheaper and easier to get it from them, Tischer is down the road so I can include the rear console with your order at no mark up.

I've saved up and got some money to burn now.... how much would it be to wrap my rear center wood trim too? I know you said it's cheaper if I just get it from Tischer, but 1) I don't have the hassle to sell it, 2) the leather matches 3) still most likely cheaper for me $$$ wise

I keep coming back to this thread thinking about adding this piece to my car. I've got a saddle brown interior with dark burl walnut and am exploring alternative trim options. I'd like to maintain something with a rich, glossy look to the interior and have mulled over the diamond black trim kit for a long while.

Have you experimented with paint options? Would a painted/polished/cleared set of trim look good as a low-cost option?

Speaking of which, I also dropped the ball on your saddle brown split armrest. Is that still for sale or did you keep it in your car?
