Thanks guys for posting this!!!
I haven't been on this forum much since I was getting info and helping others last year with the 2009.1 version. I spend most of my time on xoutpost.com (X5 4.8i) but they don't like to talk about copying nav discs there I'm downloading and seeding these discs now too. I'll keep the seeding going for a couple of days. For those interested, this is what I found worked best for me with 2009.1 burns that I did: 1. Burn ISO image to DVD+R at low speed (eg: 1x NOT 4x or 16x) 2. Use Verbatim disks (they have the most compatible dye with BMW DVD drives) . Verbatim discs from Singapore -- not others. 3. I used ImgBurn on PC. You can use NERO, Toast 8 or 9, even the disk utility in Leopard. Whatever software you use, the most important thing is to burn it at low speed. 1x is best. 4. Make sure DMA is enabled and that the CPU is not loaded during burn. In fact, exit all other programs and don't touch the keyboard. You can use DVD-R and you can use some other brands of discs. Another good brand is Taiyo Yuden. |

I ran some tests a while back with the 2009.1 NAV DVD when that came out on, uh...bittorrent. Using special utilities you can analyze a burned DVD to see the number of correctable/uncorrectable errors. I burned at several speeds, and 1X actually resulted in the highest number of errors (by a significant margin). I was somewhat surprised at this because I had bought into the myth of slower=better quality burns as well. The real issue is that the BMW DVD drive seems to be picky (especially with the DL media used in earlier NAV discs). If you have a problem, just try a different brand or style of disc (DVD+R instead of DVD-R, or vice versa). |

+1. my burner doesn't even have a 1x option. I have always used 4x or 8x.

For those that are "torrent-"ially challenged, would anyone be willing to burn a set for me? I've never done it before and am not sure on all the required resources.
PM if you're able to help |

I must be doing something wrong, I downloaded BT and tried to download the torrent and its telling me that it is going to take 3 days to download and its going really slow. It says at the bottom, "online, maybe fire walled" I've dealt with torrents before so I'm not sure what I'm doing.

I don't know. When I uploaded them, the website did mention something about the links being up only for a limited period of time.

It will be a whole new torrent project from scratch and it might end up being another 3-5 days for the first person to finish downloading both disc's. The easiest way would be for someone with long term file hosting service access to upload it and provide links.

The torrent should still be going, based on whatever seeders are still seeding. If you could PM the torrent files, we should be able to jump in and continue. I'm looking for the Redlight Cam files, region 1 & 2 please. Thanks in advance if you can PM me the torrent files.
