alright, picked up verbatim dvd+r burn with 2.4x. Not sure if it's the brand, the +r, or the slow write that made it work this time. however, I can hear A LOT of read access coming from the DVD ROM now... other then that everything works!
THANKS!! |

Got the cam disk to work, and there is an intersection with red light cam on there next to my work, but not seeing it on the map, is there an option i need to select? (disk 2) btw
The camera has been there at least 2 years, so it should be on the map. Last edited by ppaauull; 05-14-2010 at 11:51 AM.. |

I was telling a friend who has an E38 about the navi disks posted on here...
He was wondering if they would work with his car? Also my car is a 2010 (only 1month old) and i notice my Navigation version is the 2009. I have the HDD iDrive, any thoughts on what i could do to upgrade?

BMW switched from NavTeq to TeleAltas and I'm sure they don't share databases, so it is conceivable that some data available on the older DVDs are missing from the newer ones. It's a real bummer if you're area is missing.

Hey guys, is it possible to combine the two disks and burn to a dual-layer DVD? Not that I travel between the east and west coast in the car so often for it to be an issue, but if it's possible I'd prefer a single disk.

No one has combined them so far as far as I know. Perhaps, you could give it a shot and if successful, you could post it up for the fellow members here!?
