A few videos for your enjoyment, car needs mapping to bring the power back as its running less boost than before!

Car has reverted back to its standard map since flashing the Ecu. I reckon though with the bigger turbo ect it's still making over 300bhp. It's going on the dyno Saturday to get her back to where she should be (maybe more). Also having full track biased Geo setup on Friday. Then it will just be a case of making it look better inside.

In the 1st video, I hear you get a little scratch. Are you taking off in 1st or 2nd? Trying to ask if the scratch your "getting" is a 1st to 2nd or a 2nd to 3rd.
Reason I ask is the slush box always takes off in 2nd unless you force it. EDIT: I re watched the in car video (2nd video in sequence). It looks like you're starting in 1st as shifter is in forward throw position as you take off. So, the scratch is a 1st to 2nd one. CONGRATULATIONS, Grazy!! |

Thanks man! Got there in the end! The clunking noise not the box or clutch, it's the actual shifter. It's meant to do that so a way of knowing its locked into gear. As its a motorsport shifter it's definitely not the quietist lol. It's getting mapped again on Saturday and then it should be at its full potential. Will get some vids of the dyno runs and also a highway one to record the mid range grunt. |

I've been lurking around watching this thread super closely, and I am so SO glad that you got it figured out. Thank you for being a pioneer for those of us who were a bit more scared to do this. Once my note's out, I'm planning on doing the same. That is a beast of a ride!
I will gladly donate (in beverages or in monetary sums) for a guide for something like this! Full appreciation and thanks for all the incredible and amazing work! |
