I'm afraid this may be a bit too aggressive for my needs as it drops the car an inch and the spring rates are stiffer than the ZSP package, though Evan did state the ride is not supposed to be harsh. I do find "harsh" is quite subjective so I'm not sure.

Anyway, thought I'd share. I'm on the fence at this point.

I may be better off sourcing someone's take off ZSP parts, but unfortunately they're aren't many d's out there for source cars, as we all know.
I don't understand what you/he means BMW doesn't offer the ZSP springs and shocks "as seperate parts?" You should be able to order/buy ZSP springs and shocks directly off the parts list on the GetBMWParts website or from any dealer, you just need to give them your VIN. You may want to try calling BMW of Rockville's parts dept.

Performance shocks/springs are an upgrade from ZSP so yes they should be stiffer. Your car will not sit that low, but if you are planning on keeping your run flat tires you may find the ride a bit stiff for your liking.

Quick update - been quoted $2200 for the ZSP shocks/springs and components from a BMW dealer. So looks like this upgrade will cost north of $2500 installed. Unfortunately there doesn't seem to be any discounts for a package like the BMW Performance ZTP package. Not exactly cheap. I'm on the fence.

I'm already on KW V3s. These M3 pieces (minus the Megan Racing toe arms) are all being thrown on my D this March:

Front sway bar

Front lower wishbone/control arm (L)

Front lower wishbone/control arm (R)

Front tension strut (L)

Front tension strut (R)

Adjustable front sway bar end links

Rear sway bar

Rear subframe bushings - (front, 2X)
- (rear, 2X)

Rear guide rod (L)

Rear guide rod (R)

Rear upper link/wishbone (L)

Rear upper link/wishbone (R)

Adjustable rear sway bar end links

Megan Racing toe arms

Still not sure as to what LSD I'm getting too. (I already have upgraded differential bushings sitting in my garage)

my dealer just wrote me back, I asked for a price on the performance suspension and labor, just for kicks n' giggles.

Hello Ryan,
At the moment there are not any BMW performance suspension parts available for your vehicle I checked with the parts department. To mount and balanced a tire is about
$68.50 ($50.00 to mount and balanced $7.50 for weights and $9.50 $10.00 disposal fee of old tire and $1.00 tire tax) and alignment runs about $199.95.
Let me know what you would like to do.

I guess I'll look behind my front tire tonight and see yellow springs!

I wouldn't do it.

Coming from first hand experience of taking apart the stock assembly, the stock spring is just too soft.

If you're going to do it, replace the springs too.
